Our story

Absolute Green was founded in 2011 by principal Kris King.

Kris’ passion for horticulture and green keeping saw him undertake training in his chosen field through a Certificate III in Green Keeping and Certificate II in Arboriculture.

Equipped with these qualifications, Kris launched Absolute Green – quite literally from the ground up – servicing residential clients throughout the Eastern suburbs and beyond. Kris’ outstanding work and impeccable attention to detail quickly gained him a reputation as the ‘it’ man in green. Within months Kris expanded Absolute Green to include a small and specialised team of arborists, landscapers and horticulturists - taking the business to where it stands today.

It now has a commitment to employing professional, highly trained and qualified staff that are passionate about landscaping and delivering a quality product. Our staff makes the effort to fully understand the client’s scope so that full consideration is given to environmental sustainability, suitable plant selection, licensing requirements, irrigation ad water usage, drainage and budgetary issues etc. As a result our service is well managed and completed to the highest standard on time and within budget. 

Safety of our workforce (extending to our subcontractors), the public and property are of paramount importance. Our efforts are focused to ensure all of our employees are fully committed to this goal and this in turn is the approach they foster on others. We plan and monitor our stated objectives. 

We take a proactive approach and provide adequate resources to ensure that the safe working areas; safe plant, safe systems of work together with safe material handling procedures complete with personal protective equipment practices are established and implemented at each workplace in accordance with AS 4801 standards
